Here's a list of the best Christmas decorations in Downey

DOWNEY – The winners of Downey’s 2016 Holiday Home Decorating Contest were announced Monday evening at City Hall following the city’s tree lighting ceremony.

All winners were awarded festive lawn signs proclaiming their achievement in their respective categories.  

Mayor’s Award recipients also received a trophy. Awards were presented by City Council and Council Members Elect Rick Rodriguez and Blanca Pacheco.  

“Thank you all for participating and we hope you have a very merry Christmas,” said Mayor Alex Saab.
