Bradley Scott Goering
June 8, 1972 - April 28, 2024
Southern California Born and Raised, was Born to Richard and Carol Goering, and one older sister, Kimberly Goering-Chandler. Brad was Born on June 8th, 1972. He was raised in Downey California where he attended Meadow park, West middle school and he graduated from Columbus High School. After high school Brad joined the U.S. Army, Infantry division, He served honorably, Brads experience in the Army played a very important role in his life. He frequently pointed out that the Army taught him the value of discipline, teamwork, and investing in a cause larger than himself, during his enlistment Brad was stationed at the 2nd Infantry Division Camp Casey Korea, 101st Airborne division -Ft Campbell Kentucky /Toured with them on a peacekeeping mission to MFO Sinai,- 10th Mountain Division Ft Drum NY /toured operation Joint Endeavor Bonia. Brad earned many awards during his time and always qualified expert in shooting, which he was always proud of. He Was honorably discharged in 2001. Brad Loved the military and remained a loyal and devoted Veteran. Brad welcomed his first child on October 18th 1991 with Annette Thomas who he proudly named Kayla Rose! Then with his first wife, Downey Native, Margaret Evans, he welcomed His Son Evan Dean on June 4th1995 and his youngest. Madeline Maxine on September 28th1998. Both Evan & Maddie preceded Brad in death in June of 2002.
On May 1st 2016 Brad Married another Downey Native, Tanya Chilcott and they moved to Maricopa Arizona where they loved to cheer for the Dodgers, go to concerts, the casino and spoil Their Dog Ziva. Brad was a master craftsman, he loved woodworking it was a gift really, he could build anything from memory. He Loved to Fish and spend time with his family making them laugh at his jokes and impressions… Brad owned his own maintenance company and most recently became licensed to do home inspections. One of Brads Favorite Places in the whole world is the Parker River in Arizona and his Favorite Song of all time is Fire and Rain, By James Taylor…
On April 28th, 2024, Brad passed Away peacefully and Unexpectedly in his home in Maricopa AZ. His passing has left a huge void that will never and can never be filled by those he loved and those who loved him.
Brad is survived by his Loving wife Tanya Goering, his daughter Kayla Dilliner, His sister Kimberly Goering Chandler, his mother Carol Goering, his grandsons Liam, Jack, and Troy Dilliner, his niece Taylor Chandler, Countless friends and Family who Brad held near & dear to his heart, Tim and Debbi Byrd & the entire Byrd family, his Favorite cousins Jeff and Lisa Watson, his beloved Dog Ziva! and Myself, his Favorite Ex Wife… plus Many, Many more who will miss him dearly ..
Services will be private, However Brad Would Tell you if you are ever on the River in Parker AZ, Drink a beer, sing along to James Taylor and Remember the Good times…
