Cerritos Library hosting Shakespeare's 'Macbeth'
CERRITOS — The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival’s “Shakespeare on Tour” presents “Macbeth” at the Cerritos Library Skyline Room on Friday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m.
The hour-long event features a Q&A with the cast at the end of the performance.
Shakespeare’s classic tale spotlights one man’s unbridled ambition for power and how it leads him down a trail of betrayal, deceit and murder, ultimately ending in a dramatic, tragic fashion.
“Macbeth” marks the 32nd year of the “Shakespeare on Tour” program, which travels an average of 10,000 miles annually to bring a Shakespeare classic to community centers, senior centers, parks and schools throughout the state.
Registration is not required for the free event, and seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. The Cerritos Library is located at 18025 Bloomfield Avenue. For more information, call (562) 916-1342.
