Chamber of Commerce seeks board applicants

DOWNEY — The Downey Chamber of Commerce is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on its Board of Directors for the term beginning July 1, 2025.

The Chamber is looking for candidates who are passionate about supporting the local business community and are willing to leverage their professional networks to help grow membership. Board members are also expected to actively contribute to Chamber events and initiatives.

Applicants must be active Chamber members in good standing for at least one full year. The position comes with a three-year term, with the option to renew once for a total of six years.

The deadline to submit a nomination application is March 10. The Chamber’s Nominating Committee will review applications and recommend a slate of candidates for Board approval. A ballot will then be distributed to all members by March 19.
