Downey Theatre advances in LA Times' 'Best of Southland' competition

DOWNEY – The Downey Civic Theatre has advanced to the finals in the L.A. Times’ “The Best of the Southland” awards competition.

After advancing through the regionals, the Downey Theatre is now a finalist in the category “Best Place to See a Play or Musical.”

Other finalists in the category include International City Theatre, Long Beach Playhouse, Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and Warner Grand Theatre.
