Hong Kong orchestra playing in Downey

DOWNEY – The Hong Kong Children’s Symphony Orchestra will perform a benefit concert at the Downey Theatre on Monday, July 20. 

General admission tickets are free and will be available starting July 13 at the theater box office. There is a limit of four tickets per person. 

VIP tickets are $20 and include access to a VIP reception, meet and greet with young musicians, priority bidding at a silent auction, and preferred seating. Any amount in excess of $10 per donated ticket is tax-deductible. 

Fifty children ages 8-14 will perform an international tour of music, including selections by Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi, Brahms and others. 

Proceeds will benefit Volunteers of America programs.
