In Memory of Ray Z. Garcia

Ray was born in Watts, CA on January 6, 1929 and died on May 26, 2015. Ray served his country in the air force. He worked for Safeway in Vernon and Norwalk for 46 years.

Ray was a Downey resident for more than 55 years.

Ray was a soft spoken man with a generous nature. He loves his crossword puzzles and Sudoku, and had a sweet tooth for peanut brittle and hard candy.

He is survived by his wife Angie Garcia, siblings, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and sister, Helen DeSaint of Alta Dena. Ray was a great man who was loved by many and will be truly and sorely missed, and forever will be in our hearts.
