Letter to the Editor: Gratitude from Striking Vikings
Dear Editor:
Downey High School’s FIRST Robotics Competition Team 5851, The Striking Vikings, would like to thank all of our sponsors for allowing our rookie team the opportunity to experience competitive robotics and team bonding of a life time.
Without the support of our sponsors, this whole incredibly inspiring season of robotics would not have been possible.
Starting with helping our team financially to help pay for the program to professionally advising our team in networking and management, our sponsors have provided a supportive base that poised our team for a successful season. And so with their help our team was able to compete in the Los Angeles Regional, Las Vegas Regional, and World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri. The amount of knowledge, experience, and inspiration gained from our rookie year was truly life changing for all 33 members on our team.
It is with great honor and respect that Team 5851 Striking Vikings would like thank each and every one of our amazing sponsors for their generous support: Mary R.
