Dear Editor:

In response to Patty Jackson's letter to the editor “No love for animals” (May 26, 2016) let me add that we need to say shame on the racist worms for eating the microscopic bacteria; and shame on the racist birds for eating the worms; shame on the racist cats for eating the birds; shame on the racist dogs for fighting with the cats and eating the rabbits; shame on the racist rats for eating the flies; shame on the racist flies for eating the bacteria like the worms do; shame on the racist wolves and coyotes for eating the dogs; shame on the racist mountain lions for eating the wolves and the antelope; shame on the racist eagles for eating the rodents; shame on the racist lions and tigers and bears for eating all the other animals; and shame on all the racist sea creatures from the plankton eaters to the killer whales and great white sharks for eating all the other sea creatures; and while we’re at it, why don’t we say shame on the humans for killing their unborn babies?
