Phyllis Therese Ontkean

We are sad to announce the passing of Phyllis Therese Ontkean of Temecula. She died at the age of 103 on Feb 11, 2024 after a long and happy life. Phyllis was born in Vancouver, Canada, immigrated to the US, raising her family in Downey, CA. She worked at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital for 30 years and after retiring, moved to Temecula, CA. Phyllis was predeceased by Orville Ontkean, her husband for more than 50 years. She is survived by seven children and spouses, twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A private celebration of her life will be held with only close family members attending.
