PIH Health opens OB/GYN, otolaryngology clinic in Downey

PIH Health Physicians Medical Group obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) and otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat) doctors are now providing services in medical offices adjacent to PIH Health Hospital - Downey. 

These doctors are the first from PIH Health Physicians to offer outpatient services in the Downey area. 

The offices are located in the Brookshire Medical Office Building, located at 11411 Brookshire Avenue, across from the hospital. 

The PIH Health Women's Center is staffed by Dr. Ahmad Khalifa and Dr. Leslie Gonzalez. They are located in suite 207. 

The ear, nose and throat facility is staffed by Dr. Sanchayeeta Mitra. The office is in suite 302. 

A new family medicine office will open at the same location in September. 

"Our goal is to significantly improve the community's access to integrated high-quality care," said Andrew Zwers, vice president of operations for PIH Health Physicians. "Having these physicians available in the community gets us one step closer to that goal."
