December 22, 1927 - December 2, 2020

December 2nd marked the passing of Stanley C. Fuller Sr. at 92 years of age. Stan had and enjoyed a full life, and we celebrate his passing with renewed confidence that he went to be with his family and friends in heaven.

Stan was born on a farm in Bakersfield, CA, and he and his family moved to Bell, CA when he was seven. He lived in Downey, CA at the same residence since 1954. He is the last living member of his seven siblings. He is survived by his five children, three of which still live in Downey. Stanley Fuller II, Cheryl Wilson, Terry Rigby, Ted Fuller and Michelle Fuller. He had 9 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great, Great Grandchild. He is also survived by many Nephews and Nieces.

Stan was in the United States Navy for eight years. During his later years, he enjoyed talking about his experiences while in the Navy during the Korean War and the Philippine Conflict.

Stan was a long-time member of the Long Beach Model T Club. He was regularly active with the club, enjoying comradery of fellow members and still owns a 1927 Model T 2-door. He really enjoyed his days at the clubs’ monthly meetings and the monthly “Model T Garage”. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing, and camping in the High Sierras. He and part of his family-built dune buggies and loved going to Pismo Beach and Glamis.

He loved his retirement life since he retired at 62 from Clark Forklift after 25 years.

Stan, in his full life never met a stranger and could out-talk just about anybody he met.

His body was cremated. His ashes will rest at his son’s residence until hopefully, next spring, his children will host a memorial service at sea. His ashes will be scattered at sea when the virus hopefully has subsided, which will allow more friends and family to attend his memorial service.
