Vanilla Ice, Rob Base and other 90's music icons performing in Cerritos
CERRITOS — Vanilla Ice headlines the “I Love the 90’s Tour” coming to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, Dec. 1, at 8 pm.
Other musical performers include Rob Base Tone Loc, Young MC and C+C Music Factory.

Vanila Ice, real name Robert Matthew Van Winkle, exploded onto the ‘90s music scene with “Ice Ice Baby.” He has sold more than 25 million albums globally, winning two MTV Awards and a People’s Choice Award.
Rob Base, of the hip-hop duo Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock, had the hit “It Takes Two.” The song soared to the Top 10 and has been featured in several films, including “The Proposal” and “Love & Basketball.”
Tone Loc is the first rapper to be nominated for a Best New Art Grammy in 1989. He collaborated with Young MC on “Wild Thing” and “Funky Cold Medina,” which scored a Grammy nod for Best Rap Performance.
Tone Loc’s popularity also broadened with his roles in the movies “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective,” “Heat,” “Poetic Justice,” “Spy Hard” and more. He has performed with music’s top stars, including Britney Spears, Destiny’s Child, Boyz II Men and NSYNC.
The multi-platinum C+C Music Factory got the world jamming with the hit “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)”, which was named one of VH1’s all-time “100 Greatest Dance Songs.” The group continued shaking up dance floors with other No. 1 hits, including “Here We Go (Let’s Rock & Roll),” “Just A Touch of Love” and “Things That Make You Go Hmmm.”
